South Korea's men's archery team won its first Asian Games team title in 13 years.

The Korean team of Oh Jin-hyuk (Hyundai Steel), Lee Woo-seok (Kolon) and Kim Jeduk (Yecheon County Office) defeated India 5-1 (60:55/57:57/56:55) in the men's recurve archery team final at the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games at the Fuyang Throat Sports Center Archery Range in Hangzhou, China on Saturday.

It was their first Asian Games title since Guangzhou 2010.

South Korea won the title from 1982 in New Delhi to 2010 in Guangzhou before losing gold to China in Incheon in 2014 and Chinese Taipei in Jakarta-Palembang in 2018.

South Korea took the bow in the order of Kim Jeduk, Lee Woo-seok, and Oh Jin-hyuk.

In the first set, all three were in peak form, reaching the 10-point mark.

In the third set, with the set score 3-1, Oh sealed the victory for South Korea with a 10-point effort.

With the victory, Korea Archery won both the men's and women's recurve team titles in Hangzhou.

Earlier, the Korean women's archery team (Lim Im-hyun, An An, Choi Mi-sun) defeated China to win their seventh consecutive title.

In the mixed team event, Lee and Lee Woo-seok (Korea Gymnastics University) teamed up to win their second title of the tournament.

The archery recurve individual competition continues on Sunday. I

n the women's singles event, Im and An are in the gold medal match, while Lee and Lee Woo-seok are in the bronze medal match.
